Frankie Dolph (1906-1986) was from Cadillac, Michigan area. Ms Frankie Dolph was one of a handful of female carvers. She used a “FD” or “F” embed in the D as a signature.
She was a school teacher in Hoxyville and spear fished locally on the Upper and Lower Herring Lake. It is reported that she used Baby Doll type eyes.
