Around 1991 Dick designed the all metal fish decoy and made them in his garage in his home in Algonac, Michigan.

He is the father of Mich Baker.

His fish come in only one size – 7 inches long and most resemble perch. The decoys are made by Dick and painted by his very good friend, Spike Krutze. It is estimated that over 300 such decoys were made and sold in the Lake St. Clair area shops in Michigan.
