This is Lawrence “Larry” A. Miller (1917-1996) of Naubinway, Michigan.
He taught me to carve fish decoys. I made my first fish decoy with him in 1955 when I was 11 years old (see photo # 2). (Gary Miller, son of Lawrence)

The perch Fish Decoy that Larry & Gary made together in 1955 is 6 & 5/8″ long and is the first decoy that Gary, Lawrence’s son, had ever made.
