Bill has a Masters in Fine Arts. He taught art in New York City for over 30 years. He is now happily retired and living Midlothian, Virginia.  An avid fisherman since childhood, Bill regularly attends fishing and outdoor shows.  A number of years ago, while browsing fishing lures, he discovered a hand made fishing lure and was intrigued.  It seemed to him the perfect outlet for his artistic side, as well as a natural bridge to his favorite pastime, fishing.
Bill creates under the name of Swift Creek Lures and his motto is “Art with a Hook”.
Bill wrote to me and stated the following:
I am a fishing lure and fish decoy maker, my items have won many ribbons at the Michigan show and my work is sited in various publications. Thanks so much!

After visiting Bill’s website, I could tell that Bill takes great pride in his carvings in both the decoys and his lures. (fishcritter)
