Fairfield, John – Marenisco, Area 1, Western, U.P. of Michigan

John Fairfield is from Marenisco, Michigan located in the central-western area of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.  One area that may help identify a John Fairfield decoy is his later or more current decoys are being marked with “JF ” and/or a paper label. Some of his early work have wooden tails and cartoonish painted eyes.
