Russell Duff from Iron River, Michigan made his first decoys in the 1940s with his father. Russ now resides on Orafino, Idaho. 
Russell’s line ties are always marked with a spot of white paint to show best swimming attitude. His decoys are excellent swimmers and sought after by users and collectors alike. 
Russ is listed in the Kimball’s book #3 on Pages 19 & 42.
