Bill is from Metairie, LA and in 2012 he is a retired age of 72 and has been carving fish and waterfowl for almost 35 years.
He has numerous awards for his work including being one of the original charter members of the Louisiana Wildfowl Carvers and Collectors Guild. (Now defunct due after 25 years due to Hurricane Katrina) His carvings have been showcased on television and other national media due to his attention to detail and he said that is because “I use real fish from which to make my patterns.“
