Harold is from Pegeon, Michigan and was born in 1949 and is the grandson of a Great Lakes fisherman James A. reeves.
Harold has carved on and off for 25 years (2012).

A collector in Midland got Harold started carving it as he told me “it grew from there“. His great grandfather was a fish and duck decoy carver. Harold is unaware when he started carving and he tries to make decoys both real and workable with something fun and different from time to time.
