Turnock, Duane “Buzz” – Goshen, Indiana

Duane Turnock is from Goshen, Indiania and was born in 1941.

Duane is a member of the Great Lakes Fish Decoy carvers and Collectors, the Michigan Dark House, the Minnesota Dark House and the Midwest Decoy Collectors associations.
He has won 1st, 2nd and 3rd place ribbons from the World Championship shows in Monroe Michigan. He also won 1st and 2nd place in the Northeast Michigan Sportsman Show.
Duane wrote me the following:
“I collect sucker fish decoys and I started carving in 1990 and am self-taught. I make a working decoy finished realistically. All of my fish decoys have red eyes…except wall-eyes. They have pearl eyes. Decoys are branded on the bottom with DT.”
