Jeff Faigley was born in 1976 and is from Lancaster, Ohio and has been doing woodworking since he was 10 years old where he helped in his dad’s workshop.
Jeff likes to do both Folk Art and Realistic Paint Jobs. Some have more detailed carvings than others. His Decoys are made from a block of wood, hand carved, have lead belly weights, and some are painted and some glass eyes. Jeff hand paints his decoys. Some are for decoration and some are actually usable.
Jeff tells me he does not belong to any decoy organizations and does not do competitions (note – if he did, he would win -LDC). He was the youngest artist ever to be invited to display in the ArtWalk of the Lancaster Festival when he was in the eighth grade.
