Matt Brown is from the McGregor, Minnesota area.
He gained his respect for fish decoys from his father who taught him the method of fish decoy carving. His reputation on carving is proven by his wins at The Gathering in 2003 where he won many 1st, 2nd and 3rd place ribbons. He does both air brush and hand paints, each with stunning effects. He also place in the John Jensen’s Nationals in Perham in 2002 as well as placing in the Texas World Championships.
