Duplicate-carving is where a master has been hand carved and then placed into a duplicating carving machine to make many more just like the first. This is how many factory decoys are made. The photo depicts duck decoys being duplicated. Most duplicators are expensive but you can find a few that are quite economical or you can build your own.
