Craig Linderoth got a big and unpleasant surprise when he
headed out to his Indian Lake fish shanty on New Year’s Day.
When he arrived at the spot, about 200 yards offshore from
the Arrowhood landing, he discovered that the shack
had suffered significant damage. In fact, it was actually missing
two walls. Clearly, a snowmobile traveling at high speed had
run right through the shanty and destroyed it. Anyone with
information about the incident is asked to call Linderoth at
341-8582 or contact the Schoolcraft County Sheriff’s
