Hanger: the type of attachment on the decoy to tie the fishing line for jigging. Hanger types include body (notched or grooved), body hole (vertical or horizontal), nail (single or multiple), brad (single or multiple), staple (single or multiple), handmade screw eye (single or multiple), commercial screw eye (single or multiple), loop (single or multiple), inchworm, pigtail, bar, perforated or pierced (band or dorsal fin), cotter pin, and safety pin among others.
